Aurolex Noise and Environmental Monitoring System Thailand

Remote environmental monitoring system for noise, vibrations, light, air pollution etc.

1. Modular designed gateway

Product specifications
The ABC Aurolex Monitoring System makes it possible to use specific protocols in the
software for sound monitoring and monitoring of other parameters such as vibration,
light, temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, air pollution etc.

The ABC Aurolex Monitoring System can be configured with one of the following internal
modems:

  • GPRS
  • GSM-data
  • ISDN
  • Analogue

The possible inputs in the Aurolex Monitoring System (analogue or digital) present the
opportunity to register multiple signals or data simultaneously.

The digital outputs also permit to influence the processes.

By using the 12C-bus, extra inputs and outputs can be added.
The standard noise-analyzing software is installed on our Acquisition Server. The Aurolex
Monitoring System is connected with the data server by an auto-dial modem.

As each Aurolex Monitoring System has the capacity to store and process data of several
days, the frequency of downloading data to the server is minimal. Typically once every
day for a permanent Aurolex Monitoring System and once every hour for a temporary placed
Aurolex Monitoring System.
Therefore the monthly subscription fee can be as low as possible.
If a LAN connection is available, near real time data can be presented and monitored.

2. Hi-performance data distribution and compatible with pc.
The Aurolex Monitoring System lets the user monitor and manage the processes 24 hours per
day at every given location with a internet connection.
The results can be presented in graphs or tables. Automatically (user definable)
generated graphs and/or tables can be send at specified times to email addresses in pdf
format.
No need to go to the measuring point to collect the data. Threshold values can be
installed, if exceeded alarms can be given by SMS or email. All tables can be edited or
processed easily with standard software like Excel.

Push data system
The Aurolex Monitoring System is working with a push data system, so no additional
software has to be installed to monitor any values. You can program the software to
generate automated reports at given times, reports can even be plotted automatically on
maps.

Data registration
For the data registration we use the ABC Monitoring Box II (included with the Aurolex
Monitoring System). This box is equipped with an internal modem and is fully 'plug and
play'. All measured values are directly stored in a database and are accessible by the
internet.
This creates the possibility to monitor all measured values (max. 7 per box real-time) on
-line by the internet. Most available sensors can be attached to the ABC Monitoring Box
II. for example sound level meters, vibration meters, relative humidity meters,
temperature meters, LUX meters, air pollution meters, wind meters etc.

Trend module
The trend module makes it possible to display the data in graphs. The scaling of time and
data is fully adjustable.
It is also possible to export data so you can process it in a spreadsheet program.

Alarm module
The Aurolex Monitoring System has a alarm module that will send an alarm by SMS or email
if a threshold value is exceeded. Alarm levels can be displayed in the way you prefer by
the internet interface, so each time you login you can directly view all important
events. Also errors in the measuring equipment and/or sensors can be detected and send as
an alarm.

Remote control
The ABC Monitoring Box II has multiple ports so all processes can be manipulated from a
remote computer with internet connection. This can be useful for example if sensors or
measuring equipment has to be reset.

Worldwide access
The complete Aurolex Monitoring System is web-based. No need to go to the measuring
location to collect data or reset any equipment. The data can be accessed from every pc
with internet access.

3. Connections with radar systems, flight planning, meteo, public announces etc.
If there is a real-time link with the flight radar of an airport, a train monitoring or traffic monitoring system, the data can be displayed on your interface. for example with
air traffic noise monitoring, a data label from the radar system or flight planning can be
plotted with each sound event with the specific information from the flight, plane etc.
The software will take care of labeling all events to specific planes with the data
received from the airport's Flight Information System.
This way it is very easy to relate sound events to sound sources (a specific plane).
It is possible to connect our system to most common data recording systems.
The ABC Monitoring Box II is designed to allow almost every possible data input by
adjusting the software on our central server.

4. Real Time Data Access, future extensions possible
The Aurolex Monitoring System is an intelligent sound level analyzer with a weather
resistance microphone. The data transport is done by the ABC Monitoring Box II. With a
predefined modem the Aurolex Monitoring Systems can communicate wit a server by telephone
lines, mobile phone (GPRS), ISDN or LAN.
The sound level meter is placed in a protective all weather case and can optionally be
equipped with heating and a fan controlled by a thermostat. Future extensions are no
problem for the ABC Monitoring Box II. The box can be connected to 6 wireless monitoring
boxes with limited registration. If high-speed broadband registration is demanded, an
extra Aurolex Monitoring System can be added. There are almost no limitations.

5. Compatibility
The ABC Aurolex Monitoring System is compatible with software that runs on Windows 2000
or Windows XP.

6. Sound measuring system
The sound level meter with the Aurolex Monitoring System will store valuable data in the
database. Saving of all data is possible and adjustable. All results can be send to our
central server in real-time or with time intervals, i.e. once per day.
The sound level meter and microphone are class 1 and comply with IEC 61672 (2002). The
microphone is a pre polarized condenser microphone. The measuring range is from 25 dB(A) -
141 dB(A) with a dynamic range of 120 dB.
It will measure Leq, Spl, Lep, Lden, L1-L99, Lmax, Lpeak etc. The total measurement
system is weather resistant and is in standard configuration usable in temperatures
between -10 and + 50 o Celsius.

7. State of the art software and hardware

The Aurolex Monitoring System has the latest software and is protected against extreme
weather conditions, heat and shocks complying with international standards. The Aurolex
Monitoring Systems have a high speed sampling time of 0.5 seconds.

8. Support
The after sales and support, upgrading, repairs and maintenance are managed by a
maintenance contract. The system will be delivered to you 'ready to use'.
